Use of # in Html

Hashes are one of the important things while developing and testing HTML pages and contents.

Two of the uses of  "#" Sign are:-

1. Creating blank "href" links which will redirect to the same page and in future can be used for redirection to another page. Eg. (href="#"), etc.

1. Creating a link to focus on any panel or tool in the page. Here we have to write in href # along with the id of the tool. Eg. "#Panle1", "#Textbox1", etc.
